| The Padlock Party |
|
The Padlock Party is rapidly becoming one of New York City's hottest tickets. This informal, relaxed event connects you with over 300 singles--all under one roof, all in one night. This event is a super-relaxed opportunity that allows you to unwind, meet new friends, network, or if you are looking, possibly meet that special someone. Of course we can't guarantee this will happen (love can sometimes be an elusive lynx) but, we will certainly create the environment and the opportunity, what you do with it is completely up to you.
Not single? Don't worry, wing-men, wing-women, and wing-couples are welcome too!

| How It Works? |
|
Upon entry, the following is handed out:
Ladies: Padlock, Gentleman: Keys
You are then encouraged to interact with the other guests in order to find your "lock and key" match. Once you find each other, hang out and have a drink, stroll around the party, or just talk...how you both present yourself is up to you. If there is a match, then you two take over from there. If you choose to keep searching, simply return the key and lock to the front desk and exchange them for new ones. You can then start the hunt all over again.

The Padlock Parties, organized by the Indus Marketing Group (see: INDUS TUESDAYS), is quickly becoming THE hottest night out for all South Asian professionals. The parties are hosted at the most exclusive, sought-out venues in New York City and provide all the excitement and luxury these places have to offer. We know you will have an amazing experience time and time again!

| Do's & Don'ts |
- Do dress accordingly. No tshirts or sneakers, but cocktail dresses and blazers? Yes, yes. (Remember: You only get one chance to make a first impression.)
- Do be polite. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. If you are not interested politely excuse yourself and move on.
- Do enjoy your connections, but be careful, remember you are responsible for your safety on subsequent dates.
- Do enjoy yourself. The night is infamously fun and you simply MUST take full adavantage.
- Don't be a wall flower. All the guests at the Padlock party are there for the same reason and if you are hiding away you make it difficult for other guests to approach you.
- Don't give out personal details at the event unless you feel comfortable doing so.
- Don't get drunk. We appreciate the fact that the old "Dutch courage" is sometimes needed but slurred words can often be a turn off.
SEE YOU THERE!
